ज़ख्मी दिल मूवी मे जयदेव आनंद एक सेलिब्रिटी हैं, और काफी अलग-थलग जीवन जीते हैं। एक दिन वह एक युवती वंदना आचार्य के बचाव में आता है और उसे उससे प्यार हो जाता है।
वंदना उसका सम्मान करती है, लेकिन उसे एक अन्य व्यक्ति अभिमन्यु से प्यार हो जाता है।
