I don't know how people love this soap opera filled with nothing but unnecessary melodrama. And people compare this show to Prison Break? Season 1 of Prison Break has hit a milestone all 4 seasons of this garbage, so please stop comparing. I request you to stop wasting your time in this show and watch some more.

The actions of some of the characters are mindless and the show simply doesn't deserve such a positive rating. I would have given it a better rating if not for the waxing characters and plot holes. The show is polluted with undeveloped and sudden emotions and love between the characters.

I heard a lot about this series. Finally after years of recommendations from various people I decided to give it a try. And boy, what a mistake was this. All I can say is, I created an account here - just to write this review. I'm that angry.
Let me start with the good stuff. The first season started off well enough because the basic premise is so cool and intriguing - execute the right plan and "steal" the big bucks - but how are they going to do that? The character of the professor was also good. That's it. No really, he is.
Let's move to the negative. Almost every character except the Professor is annoying as hell. And it has nothing to do with their being ambiguous. They are completely unsuitable, despite the apparent efforts of the creators of the series. And I think Tokyo takes the prize in that department. Every time I saw him I wanted to skip this part of the episode (which I did a lot of times in season 2), unfortunately he's our narrator... the Serbs, Moscow and Berlin characters weren't as awesome. The rest is just a joke.
After the first season I wondered if I should continue. I decided to end the story and moved on to season 2. Who wrote it? Again the characters continue their completely silly behavior - they go from one extreme to the next in the span of one episode..., incredible situations happen, stupid decisions. Of course I didn't expect this series to be accurate and true to life, but it has its limits. In Season 2 I was leaving entire sections out of boredom, anger and disbelief - I just wanted to see how it ended, and forget about it.
I will not watch seasons 3, 4 and 5. Enough of this torture.
It's a poorly executed SOAP opera disguised as a plagiarism series, with terrifying characters, utterly unbelievable situations. what a waste of time. I still wonder how it is rated so high.

Unfortunately, though, it appears that during the first season someone realized they had an audience they wanted to keep for a while, and from that moment on, it quickly went downhill. Like a marmalade that would only last so long, they began to stretch the story until they could make it last, eventually rendering it almost unplayable.
What appears to be a masterpiece would have been a masterpiece if it was allowed to play at its predetermined timing, speed and format, becoming a sprawling mess and with so much stretch, something has to give. As a spoiled, piecemeal tapestry, it developed so many glaring plot holes that even those who enjoyed the TV series or movie were best blessed to be able to suspend faith. If so, they will eventually find it exhausting and frustrating that one needs so much to keep this story on track. Not only are there innumerable plot holes, but storytelling tends to be more and more formulaic by episode, and is often predictable anyway.
Acting is a give or take, and while some actors are excellent, others do not. Despite and because of this, Money Heist (the terrifying change of title, by the way) engages you—especially at the beginning of the series, as it's a whole, unquestionable, rich story at the beginning—with fluid, deep moments of brilliance. , unfortunately, at least infrequently, until we barely see them.
If you intend to check it out, listen to the bad reviews and go in with fewer and fewer expectations - you'll probably be as surprised as the people who discovered it the first time around and enjoy it.
