In bhool bhulaiyaa movie I haven't seen the Malayalam original, but I don't think I need to. If you've ever needed to make an Indian film proud in front of an American, you're going to need it.
A very intelligent mix of drama, suspense, thrill and comedy with traces of romance thrown in between... Right from the start, bhool bhulaiyaa movie never spoils. All the characters are well chosen and the story is taut.
The plot is of a couple who are returning to their husband's native place and there they encounter. Although the plot has been explored earlier as well, the performance by the actors here is commendable.
The couple seems to be a real couple, the father looks like the father, everything seems true and believable. It's hard to believe they're acting.
In bhul bhulaiya movie The mystery slowly unfolds and is transformed very skillfully with other elements but the interest never wanes.

"Bhool Bhulaiyaa" is one such film that pleasantly surprised me. I was not aware that it was a remake.
In bhul bhulaiya movie I live in Netherlands and can only get copies of Hindi movies. So having no idea about the story, I could watch this film with new eyes and just love it.
The trailer is very misleading and makes people believe that it is a comedy. And I'm glad that wasn't the case. This is a really good suspense film.
Not in the sense that it was thrilling every minute. But you just feel that something is happening.
The comedy and horror elements are there to set you apart. In bhool bhulaiyaa I like the fact that they play with superstition, religion and science.
It is quite a remarkable psychological thriller. be honest. There are not many Indian movies like this as compared to Hollywood movies. Not even a minute did I get bored with this film.
And let me tell you that something is saying. I have seen a lot of movies this year (American, Korean, Japanese, British, Dutch and Hong Kong) and I was very disappointed with most of them.
That pair is definitely a world class dance pair as they are very precise and they definitely look for expertise. The word "dancing deity" keeps coming to mind.
On the other hand, while it has all the wonderful OTT-ness of a classic Bollywood film from the 50s and 60s, the music has been updated – the lyrics typically weave incomprehensible romantic awkwardness ("I'm yours, only yours, you weave). is my breath" - I mean, huh!?)
But the music is modern and fresh. The characters are also a wonderful mix of high camp, high drama and modern minimalism.
I really enjoyed the scene which is reminiscent of a joke in which a guy is talking on his cell phone while a girl behind him keeps answering thinking he is talking to her.
Oh - except Bibi, the boy isn't wearing anything and the girl is in the shower stall while he's out.
i really like that movieDoesn't tell anything in the body. oh, explanations have been given all over, but the really great thing is how it doesn't dilute the old ways and kicks modern science up a notch,

Despite the fact that bhool bhulaiyaa was promoted as a comedy, the film is a physical thriller with some comic situations. Priyadarshan has done a good job as a director.
As compared to his previous films, he makes the leap as a director by making a film with his own style.
In my opinion, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is much better than the original film, Manichitrathazhu. Perhaps because the technicians have improved since then.

The last 45 minutes belong to none other than Vidya Balan. She doesn't have much to do throughout bhool bhulaiyaa movie but steals the show with her scintillating performance towards the climax .
Ameesha Patel looks ethereal and is effective in a small but important role. The supporting cast is first class, especially Paresh Rawal, Rasika Joshi and Manoj Joshi.
the songs are good; Labon is easy on the ears. Overall, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a well executed film, though lengthy at some parts! Time passed!

In bhool bhulaiyaa Priyadarshan is indeed a comeback in this. Although I had always loved this friend,
his movies were running on a regular basis and all his experiments like Bhagam Bhag have failed miserably. But this film was actually a welcome break from his side.
Akshay Kumar, as he has proved many times already, has got a great comic timing. He brings a twist to the plot of the film as well as inside your stomach as you burst into laughter.
Vidya Balan looks lovely except once, but if you haven't seen bhul bhulaiya movie yet, I won't talk more to ruin your suspense. In bhool bhulaiyaa Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav are worth watching once again.

I wouldn't compare Sleepy Hollow to Maze, because they're not comparable. One is a Hollywood film and the other is a Bollywood film.
One which is high budget the other relatively low. But you might not realize that the comedy that seemed compelling in Sleepy Hollow is the same for this flick. It really seems forced.
One can feel that they can pull off the comedy all together in the first half of bhul bhulaiya movie. The scenes in which Blok has to be dumb to fulfill a sacred task just appear too compelling.
In bhool bhulaiyaa And yet, Akshay Kumar's comedy reels look so natural. But like Priyadarshan's previous Bollywood film Bhagam Bhag, this too is a thriller.
The difference is that Bhagam Bhag is a comedy, whereas Bhool Bhulaiyaa is actually a thriller.
Vidya Balan has given a stellar performance (I won't say why you have also seen the film, I won't give any spoilers) and so did Akshay Kumar, despite bhul bhulaiya movie getting delayed by almost an hour. .
Shiney Ahuja also looks impressive, he always does. Manoj Joshi was also very good as the elder of the family.
In bhool bhulaiyaa Rajpal Yadav is probably the only worthy gag reel in bhool bhulaiyaa. His small role is quite relevant and it makes you laugh when and how it is necessary.
Paresh Rawal and Asrani have been ruined in bhool bhulaiyaa. An actor with Paresh Rawal's ability should not have been used in this role.
Ameesha Patel is also doomed. A dazzling beauty of her caliber deserves more screen time, though she delivers a great performance nonetheless.
But at the end of the day this film will surely be remembered by Vidya Balan's performance which is nothing short of mind blowing.
Keeping in mind the theme of bhool bhulaiyaa, very few songs have been used. Only three are actually shown except for the title track which is shown during the end credits.
And the music, background score is also perfect and accurate. Camera work is superb.
In the beginning one might feel that there are some bad editing, but towards the end you can feel that everything was deliberately placed and all are relevant to the climactic sequences of bhool bhulaiyaa.
The sets were lavishly crafted and the locations throughout are sumptuous and exquisite.
In bhool bhulaiyaa Lastly Disha, well what should I say?? Priyadarshan definitely the best in my bookIndian comedy director, but this being his first full horror/thriller he has got praise in my book.

फिल्म में परेश रावल और असरानी बर्बाद हो गए हैं। परेश रावल के काबिलियत वाले अभिनेता को इस रोल में इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जाना चाहिए था।
